2nd Annual Hike Against Hunger
October 21, 2017 @ 9:30AM — 1:00PM Eastern Time (US & Canada)
Rio Grande Food Project's 2nd Annual Hike Against Hunger
Our community is hungry… one in six Bernalillo County residents and a quarter of our kids are skipping meals because they do not have enough food, so we HIKE AGAINST HUNGER.
Join Rio Grande Food Project and fellow community members on Saturday, October 21st, 2017 for the 2nd annual Hike Against Hunger!
Stroll or speed walk a 2-mile, 4-mile, or 6-mile loop through the Bosque along the Rio Grande between Paseo Del Norte and Alameda.
We hike to raise awareness, to strengthen our resolve to end hunger, and to raise support and funds for Rio Grande Food Project.
Rio Grande Food Project is the largest food pantry on Albuquerque's west side, feeding over 420 households every single week. That's 47,000 kids, adults, and seniors each year! 1.3 million meals pass through Rio Grande Food Project's doors annually, helping ensure everyone has enough food to live a healthy, active life.
