$500 towards $500

Join Montech Team Members in supporting real change. Let’s support good in the world and make a difference. Help us build a community where EVERY child, adult and senior has enough nutritious food!

Montech Inc will be contributing a donation for every team member that joins us for the Rio Grande Food Project for the 6th Annual Hike to End Hunger, presented by Vitality Works, which raises awareness and funds for RGFP's hunger-relief and prevention work.

This year we will gather on Saturday, October 23rd for our signature Hike event at Boxing Bear Brewing Company. The hike starts at 9:00am so we tell teams to come out by 8:30 for parking and just to mingle, take a photo. RGFP does a short program at about 8:50 a.m. or so and then head off to take a beautiful hike along the Bosque in fall color.

RSVP to Montech if you'll be in attendance!

More info about RGFP -

  • Throughout their 32 years of operation, Rio Grande Food Project has created partnerships and relationships that help them source food at a lower cost. $1 donated can provide over 5 meals for a single person.
  • RGFP's urban garden is a source of nutrient-dense produce like kale, tomatoes, peppers, peaches, strawberries, potatoes, onions and even asparagus! Food is harvested, weighed and immediately distributed. RGFP also works with local farmers to provide fresh organically produced vegetables to help those facing hunger receive the highest quality food and improve not just food security, but nutrition security.
  • Not only that, RGFP has a community hub to connect those visiting us with resources that address the causes and effects of hunger. Bill assistance, employment opportunities, enrollment assistance in supportive programs, mental health services, financial literacy and nutrition, cooking and gardening classes all help to decrease poverty and provide a network of positive support and growth.

Thank you for helping us build a hunger-free community!
