We are fundraising to feed our community!
Join the Rio Grande Food Project Board of Directors in supporting real change. Your help will assist Rio Grande Food Project address hunger and cultivate long-term food security in our communities.
Rio Grande Food Project has been providing free groceries to our community for 35 years and the Board, staff, and volunteers are working hard on a strategic plan to build a client-choice grocery store type food pantry model on the site adjacent to where it currently operates within the next few years. This will be a place where people can choose the types of food that fits their dietary or cultural needs, it will reduce food waste, and allow for the sourcing of a higher quality and quantity of food.
Until then, your donation will help RGFP continue to provide critical food assistance to over 1000 individuals every week, offer supplemental community resources through the community hub such as bill assistance and financial literacy classes, and grow more nutritious fruits and vegetables in their on-site urban garden.
We believe everyone should have enough plentiful and nutritious food. Thank you for helping us reach our goal in support of this critical work!
