Hi friends and family,
I'm "Hiking to End Hunger" again and would love to ask for your support. I'm aiming to raise $1,000 by October 26th! I have the joy and privilege of working at Rio Grande Food Project where we're able to help over 1,500 households every month with nutritious food.
New Mexico ranks #1 in childhood hunger. This hits home in a brand new way now that Sean and I have Iris, our sweet 8-month-old. I cannot imagine the fear and sadness parents feel when they're doing all they can to make ends meet, and still there is not enough food. Too often, we hear from working moms with an unexpected medical bill or car repair, who are making the impossible choice between buying groceries and paying rent.
Please help me support the seniors, dads and moms, kids and babies we see every day at Rio Grande Food Project who need a little help with nutritious food in order to live a healthier, happier life.
