Located in an urban “food desert” spanning Albuquerque’s low-income and underserved south valley and westside neighborhoods, Rio Grande Food Project (RGFP) is a hunger-alleviation food pantry, community resources hub for long-term stability, and urban produce garden operated by and with community, year-round, to address our city’s very serious hunger problem.
RGFP has a strong 35-year history providing vulnerable populations with supplemental nutrition and community resources. Last year, RGFP served over 8,300 at-risk individuals who received food a combined 42,358 times throughout the year. We are on track to help even more at-risk children, families, and seniors this year, but we need your help!
